About Me

Hello ! I am a third year PhD student at the University of Cambridge, UK. I am interested in all things science, and passionate about diversifying STEM education. I have research experience in broad range of topics, including Lithium-ion battery materials, Biomimetics, Stem-cell based gene therapy, Brain tumor treatment technologies, Microfluidics, Bioelectronics and Single-cell assay development. I have also had the opportunity to work on various aspects of technology translation and commercialisation. Public health access and affordability is a priority for me, as such I have spent more than two years working with an NGO in Seattle designing treatment intervention strategies for primary health care system in rural Nigeria. I am a perpetual nomad, and hence had an opportunity to do half of my undergrad in India (Osmania University, Hyderabad) and other half in California, US (U of California Riverside), and Masters in US (Johns Hopkins) and ended up in Cambridge, UK. I am happy to chat about any of these aspects that are relevant and important to you. And here's my linked in: www.linkedin.com/in/ akhilajyothydenduluri
