Stages of the Contest

1. Online Test


All registered students will be invited to participate in a multiple-choice question online test for Science and Maths for 45 minutes each.

2. Video Test


Shortlisted students from the online test will have to make a short video on any topic of their choice from Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Maths (STEAM).


3. Face-to-face Interview


After the video test, 7 students will be selected to battle it out for top spot via the Interview Round.

The best students from the online test will be shortlisted. They will have to make a short video on any topic of their choice amongst Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

FAQs

  • Who can participate?

    The contest is open to the tenth grade students. Parents need to register on behalf of students and give their consent.

    • The first step, that is the Aptitude test, will be conducted on the 8th of October. The test consists of Maths, Science, and Logical Reasoning questions. The test will be held online and the total duration will be 75 minutes.

    • The questions are based on standard Indian School Maths and Science subjects.

    • Results of the aptitude test will be declared within 2 weeks of the test date.

    • The parent will make the child available for further stages if the child qualifies.

    • LAS has undertaken to provide a full academic tuition scholarship (11th and 12th grade) to the winner of the LAS Scholarship. It will also include boarding expenses, meals, cultural trips and uniforms.

    • The scholarship does not include the personal account and deposit money. This amounts to 10,000/- CHF, which has to be paid by the winner of the LAS India Scholarship willing to pursue 11th and 12th-grade education at LAS. The airfare and other travel expenses also have to be borne by the student.

  • No. The school provides IBDP program only for eleventh and twelfth grade.

  • The contest has three stages as outlined in contest details. Please note that the organiser can change/modify the details anytime as per the market conditions. The final winner choice is LAS prerogative.

  • Yes. We are charging a nominal amount of INR 1000 (+ GST) per student at the time of registration. Please note that this is a non-refundable amount.
